Mangapps Gala, 2026.
We're holding our Annual August Gala over the forthcoming Bank Holiday Weekend. This year, Saturday will be the usual format, with all available diesel locos running throughout the day, but on Sunday & Monday the diesels will be joined by our steam loco "Brookfield" and a very special visiting engine, GER 0-4-0ST No. 229, the "Coffeepot".
Please note that there will be different fares for the Gala and other amendments may also be necessary, due to the weather situation- please watch this page for further updates.
Mangapps Railway & Museum is now open every day, 11.30am- 5pm (last entry 4.30pm) with trains running every day until the end of August.
Due to the current fire risk, all trains will be diesel hauled until further notice.
Fares are £15.00 adult, £8.00 child, 3 y.o. & under free.
Ticket prices are £15.00 adult, £8.00 child, under 3s free. Includes unlimited train rides.
Please note that trains run on all open days!
A vintage diesel train is used on passenger services on non steam days.
